I WAS ASKED TO WRITE ABOUT THE MIAMI HURRICANES VS. FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES GAME

That is what is so funny, or sad about the state of these programs. Funny or sad, I am torn between the two, and have been for a few years now. Depending on which hat I am wearing it can be either of the two. Anyone who has been paying any kind of attention knows it’s not a choice between my Hurricane’s or Seminoles’ hat, it is my Florida Gator and State of Florida Football hat. It is pretty clear that I am a Gator fan, I am also a fan of, and biased towards, football in the state of Florida.

So Tired of Hearing About the University of Southern California

As you can tell by the title, I am so sick of hearing how great USC is. One thing that really frustrates me is the people that think they are hands down the best because of how impressive USC was in their win over Ohio State. I watched that game very closely, and when I watch football I watch more than just where the ball is in that moment, I watch the players off the ball.

FLORIDA GATORS VS MIAMI HURRICANES

God this is going to be good. During the radio show I was a little hesitant about giving advice to bet on this game. I couldn’t sleep, I got out of bed to write this one, I just can’t stand it anymore: The Gators will blow The Hurricanes out. I don’t see how anyone can think that this game will be close.

Utah vs. Michigan: I’m taking Utah and the points

Big Mike, I am in disagreement with you on Utah vs. Michigan. I want to talk about a couple of points when I look at this matchup in The Big House. I actually feel that your point of Michigan not having a starter named is the tip of the iceberg on their actual biggest positive going into this game

There are only two seasons: Football and Recruiting.

It only takes a basic understanding of College Football to appreciate the beauty of a Saturday afternoon game anywhere South of the Mason-Dixon line. One sees smiling Alumnus anticipating a victorious afternoon for their team, one sees tanned fit blonde co-eds with colors of their respective schools face-painted on their dimpled cheeks and, most importantly, one sees the best competition week in and week out that college football has to offer.

So I’m perusing a chatboard today and it hits me, Michigan has to actually play another season opener! We all remember Dexter Jackson and his Appalachian State teammates embarassing Big Blue in the Big House last fall, but can lightning strike twice in the home state of Kwame Kilpatrick?

There are two good articles I’ve read that will give you a nice perspective on this game
