You may have already guessed that T-Love and Big Mike are not just football fans, they are sports fans. Tonight, we suffered through some gloating over the Tampa Bay Rays dominance of all Sox that are Red before moving on to football.
In the fantasy football segment of the show we discussed the shock that was the Tampa Bay – Carolina game last week, with Carolina not showing up and the Bucs scoring big points for some fantasy team owners that kept them in the game rather than playing the Panther defense.
Ahem.
It was also recommended to me to find a replacement for Julius Jones this week. Seattle goes into Tampa Bay with a backup QB, and the Bucs will be geared up to stop the run. Right now, Jones is my best option, but I am keeping an eye on the free agents.

San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants (-10)

M: Brees is a top QB and should be considered in the Brady-Manning-Romo discussion. NO beats the spread.
Dallas Cowboys vs. St. Louis Rams (+7)
Brad Johnson is king of checkdown. Felix Jones will get 8 catches. Whitten will have a huge game. Johnson has no arm left.

M: Rams beat the spread. Jim Haslett good coach, underrated.
Detroit Lions vs. Houston Texans (-9.5)
T: Detroit loses by more than 9.5
M: Agrees
NCAA Games
LSU vs. South Carolina (+2.5)
T: LSU covers the 2.5
M: Agrees
Ole Miss at Alabama (-11.5)
T: Ala covers 11.5
M: Ala does not cover. Not a believer.
Vanderbilt vs. Georgia (-14.5)
T: Vanderbilt beats the 14.5 pt spread.
