Boolah Boolah!

So I’m perusing a chatboard today and it hits me, Michigan has to actually play another season opener! We all remember Dexter Jackson and his Appalachian State teammates embarassing Big Blue in the Big House last fall, but can lightning strike twice in the home state of Kwame Kilpatrick?
There are two good articles I’ve read that will give you a nice perspective on this game, the first by the honorable Michael David Smith at Collegefootballtalk.com is here. The second, via Yahoo! Sports can be found by clicking right here.
My take…. IF I was a wagering man….. I’d take Michigan giving the 3 to 3.5 points to Utah. I understand Michigan football is a mess right now, no clear cut quarterback, no standout amongst the Tailbacks and basically a depth chart as unclear as Edward James Olmos’ facial skin, but there is no way the actual players on Michigan’s front lines, the big beefy boys, will allow themselves to be humiliated two seasons in a row. Big Beefy Boys determine the outcome of most football games. This one will be one of those games, take Michigan give the points.
